I say I'm a foodie, but I honestly do not collect cookbooks.
I'm the girl looking for the small two to three shelves of "Food Writing" books that include essays, memoirs, food history, food politics, and more.
Sometimes to find these books you have to wander bookstores. I've searched everywhere from current events to personal stories and sometimes even history and culture sections.
There are people everywhere talking about food - and not just the 5 Ingredients or Less - but people really talking about food and its impact to the world and the their (being authors') lives.
So this little blog is about that - reviewing the books I'm addicted to.
